Sound Bite: Amy Adams – Her audition
Um, I I remem actually really I remember that I was wearing a purple shirt. Um I I remember um walking in and that Kevin was sick and that he kept his distance and um I remember how we did it several times and played with it and uh just had a lot of fun

Sound Bite: Amy Adams – Preparing for the role
Um, you know what, I I grew up watching them, so it was so much a part of of my childhood. I I really felt I understood what the role needed. I didn’t you know necessarily do research by watching um the films because I already was so familiar with them. So um, uh, it was more important to me to create a character that would serve this story.

Sound Bite: Amy Adams – Herself in the role
Um, I think it probably, uh, sort of, I tend to use my hands a lot when I talk, so I think some of them stayed with me.

Sound Bite: Amy Adams – Her animated self
Oh, I thought she was great. I thought they did a wonderful job. They they really were able to capture some of my quirks, and and uh and my sort of sporadic movements and things like that. It was uh, it was… It made me a bit self-conscious at times, but I felt they did an amazing job.

Sound Bite: Amy Adams – The dream of being animated in a movie
Um, I don’t know. Is it a dream for you? Would you like to be animated? (Talks) Yeah? Then yeah, absolutely. I think it is, it was a lot of fun. And it was nice to get to suspend belief for a little awhile, and to uh climb into that dress even though it was heavy. It was really fun.

Sound Bite: Amy Adams – The big scene in central park
Uh, yeah, the dancers that we were working with, I attribute most of the work to them. Um I just, I got to be the pide piper and sit through a lot of it, so. But they worked very hard and I just have so much respect for them.

Sound Bite: Amy Adams – On her costar, James Marsden
He was hysterical. James is such a talented guy. I thought he did such a good job in his role, was so perfect. I mean, he’s physically perfect for the prince. But also the way that he was able to jump in there and uh have fun and play. I just really I just think he’s fantastic.
12:19:20 174.7
Sound Bite: Amy Adams – The city of New York
Uh yeah, they were very kind. And I think I think going to New York was just very much about it being a big city, a modern city, a fast paced city, and and just the city, you know the city that never sleep, so it would definitely be shocking to somebody who is not used to that.
12:19:37 191.7
Sound Bite: Amy Adams – The animal call she makes in the movie
Nope. Haha. No, I uh, it’s out there somewhere in the world. But uh, yeah, I’m sure, I wish if animals would come clean my house when I did it, I’d probably do it all the time.
