02:28:49 1825.93	Sound Bite: Kevin Michael Richardson – “Jabba The Hutt” Star Wars: The Clone Wars I was asked to play Jabba the Hutt by one of the writers Mike Henry who I had the pleasure of working with in a show called, Super force monkey team hyper force Go and uh, he became one of the big wigs on this show and uhm, I read and they seemed very happy and here I am playing Jabba and I cant believe it, I got to tell you. OC: What was that like, playing a legendary character like that, filling in those shoes? Kevin: You know, it hasn’t really fully hit me just yet to really just now, and it’s very cool, very cool, man.

Kevin: He’s awesome, but looks happens to him at the end. I would rather have all my limbs instead of machines and (makes Vader noise) asthma.

Because Yoda is pretty much a bad ass, he’s the most knowledgeable of the force, he’s like the eldest of the council and I think he’s just the man. He’s the man.
02:31:05 1961.93	Sound Bite: Ian Abercrombie – “Chancellor Palpatine” – Star Wars: The Clone Wars I got a call, and they said they want to see you for Clone Wars, and I said, what’s that, and they said, it’s the new Star Wars, I said, ok, it’s animated series, I said, ok, and then that was last year and so we started and off we went, just like that, there were a lot of people up for it, you know and heavy weights, too, when I got the call, I said, one for me. OC: What’s it like playing this character? I mean this is one of the heavy’s. Ian: Oh, he’s wonderful, I’ve always played good guys, well not good guys but sort of, nothing with a bite to it, you know they say he plays safe, this is different, entirely different from anything I’ve played before, even though it’s the voice, so control that other stuff in him, you know, that emotion, and it’s just like being on camera, but your not seen.
