Kate – Yeah I actually like night shooting because I love when you get whacky. Uh that happens to be a time when I really enjoy Matthew – You can see her still get whacky when the sun’s high in the sky. Kate – Yeah but come like, come like 3:30 in the morning, you’re going, okay, I’m getting really tired, and you kind of hit this tired thing, and everybody’s kind of like this, and then come like 4:30… Matthew – You kick back in. Kate – You’re ready to party. (laughs) Matthew – Sunrise. Kate – Yeah, sun’s coming up, day’s almost done, and you’re like, we were up all night! |

Kate – I mean… Matthew – Or trying to get a nice, a nice kiss, a nice little, when you’ve got 4 foot waves comin and crashin in your mouth, and you’re going to kiss, and you’re just, both your mouths are just full of salt water and you’re comin away coughin and spittin and blowing snot out your nose, you know, it’s such a great romantic moment. Kate – Moment. Matthew – Kabloink, and you dunk, and you come up, and you’re like, geez is anyone getting this. Yeah, we’re rollin. Have we got a kiss yet? We’ve been in here for 3 minutes, and we’re trying, but we keep goin under water. |

Kate – Oh absolutely. I wouldn’t think so from the beginning, but now, I can’t wait to get back in the water. I haven’t gotten back in the water since we shot. Um, but uh, I’m planning on going to Hawaii soon, I can’t wait to go diving. It’s funny, it’s like golf, you know, you kind of plan your vacations around your hobby, and when you have that hobby, and I come from a family of golfers and divers, and uh, and when we’re, you know, when our family would vacation, it’s like, the guys want a golf course, you know, and and now our family can all like say like, let’s go diving, and we’re all, everybody but mom. (talks) She never will. (talks) Mom diving? No, she’ll stay on the wa, she’ll stay land. Mom’s not a big dive… Matthew – Go in or dive? Kate – Naw, not for mom. |

Matthew – Yeah, we didn’t, I mean we didn’t, we weren’t talking all the time or anything, but when we crossed each other, always happy to see each other, and then we stayed in contact somewhat. And we all had, we had, we had some projects thrown our way with people that were interested in, but we just didn’t… |

Sound Bite: Matthew McConaughey & Kate Hudson – Their chemistry Matthew – Absolutely. Kate – Well I never, I mean, I don’t know how, I don’t know when that happens, but I think it’s, yeah, for us, I mean that’s kind of a lucky thing I think. I feel really lucky that that happened with you and I, because usually it’s not the chemistry, usually it’s the movie, you know, and and you do a sequel, and uh for some reason it’s, it happened to be us working together, and that’s fun, you know, it’s kinda like uh, it’s fun because it makes the movie, the making of the movie process so much easier because you actually enjoy who you’re working with, you know what you’re gonna get, and you, and you can really sort of push each other’s buttons and sometimes I think that makes for better performances and stuff, so… Matthew – We dance well together, yeah. Kate – (laughs) |
