APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET OF COLOR 16MM FILM COMPILED ON TO A 7 INCH REEL. RUN TIME: 5:59 TOM ALBERT WAS BORN NEAR ALGIERS ON DECEMBER 23, 1877 AND DIED IN NEW ORLEANS ON DECEMBER 13, 1969. HE PLAYED TRUMPET AND WAS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS OF THE EUREKA BRASS BAND. HE IS BURIED IN MERRICK CEMETERY NEAR VIOLET, IN ST. BERNARD CEMETERY. HIS FUNERAL TOOK PLACE ON DECEMBER 16. FUNERAL SERVICES TOOK PLACE FROM THE BLANDIN FUNERAL PARLOR, 1116 ST. CLAUDE AVENUE, IN THE TREME NEIGHBORHOOD. OLYMPIA BRASS BAND IS SEEN DURING THE JAZZ FUNERAL.
