Well the first thing, well what resonated for me was that it made me laugh reading the scripts uhm and beyond that the list of people that were already associated with like Jerry, PJ, Isla and this catalogue of books and there enormous success was such a great team of people was obviously something to get involved with. (talks) I knew of, I did not have them pilled up next to my bed I will confess but I subsequently read the first I think three, and there are five, I’ve read three of them infact I read them in one sitting and uhm found that I enjoyed them a lot more then I thought I might, I didn’t know they would be for me but they were great. (talks) yeah yeah. |

This movie really incorporates elements from the first two books first of all, the main difference to be tackled head on, to be noted head on is that Rebecca Bloom would indeed all the characters in the books and Isla is obviously playing American uhm Rebecca Bloom in this movie is American. But we have stayed I think in more than just character, we have stayed very true to the books in other ways. Usually when people say we’ve stayed true to the spirit of the book means they just totally rewrote it but actually there are scenes, the are kind of moments, there are even bits of dialogue I think that people who love these books will recognize in the film. |

No she’s totally bubbly, she’s vivacious and irrepressible but she’s not like some, not that the character in the movies air headed exactly, but she’s kind of she kind of did as about and goes from one calamity to the next and that’s not Isla, I think she’s much more in control. |

I think out knowing even less then when I went in which is already not a great amount. I learned, I mean I learned about what I was doing, which is, which is kind of a different type of movie, its certainly a different tone with Isla and PJ who both you know very at home in that tone. So I was just watching them and you know just trying to pick up what I could and be part of it. |

That’s exactly how it unfolded but you know whats great about Jerry is that he is I mean he is very much a factor into every movie that that that he produces. He puts together the team and so on but he’s also very good at letting the Director have have their own, you know have their own space uhm and that includes casting. I mean I know that PJ was wanted to be certain that he got exactly the right, you know group of people, that they fitted the group. And uhm so I, I’m grateful to Jerry and I know that he kind of its amazing he reached ? but uhm PJ’s the boss as well (talks) Sure yeah |
