Sound Bite: Brendan Fraser – Inkheart Eliza Hope – Inkheart
Eliza: No, I really loved watching it, it’s so nice to see the bits, you know like the shadows and stuff that was CGI, otherwise it’s like watching the same thing you’ve done for 4 months. Brendan: I can’t watch myself, can you watch yourself? Eliza: But you have to when you’re watch it though, no I find that I only judge what I’m doing, like I’ll be like, oh “I could have done that better, Brendan: Really. Eliza: Yeah, cause otherwise, I like watching the scenes that you weren’t there to shoot. Brendan: That’s not true, this kid, sorry, she never second guess’s herself, which she’s exactly what she’s doing all the time, cause she’s the real McCoy, she’s really an amazing actor and we could not have done it without her. (Talk) Is she really pink and red right now? (Talk) Then let me go on, the day that Helen Mirren came back with her Oscar that she won while we were shooting this. Eliza: Can I. Brendan: It wound up in her hands at one point, while we were in a buggy, separated from Helen, who didn’t care, she was like letting people take pictures with each other holding it, I just have to say that the Oscar really looked good in her hands, and just get your speech ready, that’s all I’m saying, one happy day, one happy day down the line, Eliza: No Brendan: Yeah, you heard it here first. |

****Brendan what was it about this adventure movie.
Sound Bite: Brendan Fraser – Inkheart Eliza Hope – Inkheart Brendan: Well, initially and this is really bizarre, what. Eliza: What nothing. Brendan: The book was send to me by the author, it was inscribed, “Dear Brendan, you inspired this character, I hope you get to read it to your kids.” That doesn’t happen every day, big, flattery, hello, what do you do? I didn’t know who the author was, met her family, met her, and jump forward, here we are, we have a movie now, um, every jobs the same you know, nobody sets out to make a dud, you know, you do your best and you know, it’s like a rocket launching, we going to fly or not? (Talk) Brendan: I mean that’s nice and all but I think what we have is in cart a well crafted film, that source material, is borrowing from all other sorts of source material, that being great works of literature, but it presents it to it’s audience in ways that’s not condescending, it doesn’t, what have I been saying all morning? (Talk) Wag it’s finger at you and says Eliza: And say eat your vegetables. |
