Well obviously there’s a lot of films that I’ve made every year and there’s some great films that come out there and people just don’t get to know them they don’t hear about them, so you need somebody like Jackie Chan’s stature to actually bring a film like that out, people to notice it, so it’s wonderful for him to help us and he’s seen the film and he loves it, he gets what we’re trying to do and he’s really thrown his weight behind it to support us.

Um nobody’s actually done a story about Wushu yet. I think they shy away from the fact that Wushu is a sport and that was a problem I had in the beginning trying to market it, what’s interesting about a fighting sport, especially when it’s actually just performance sports, but you know we had an angle and um you know there was a way of filming sports which made it exciting and at the same time we had the fighting inside as well.

I think for me it was very important because it was Cannes last year that we actually met John Schamm who’s the person that backed the film all the way through and here we are now nearing the completion of the film we’re here to sell the film and we’re back in Cannes again, so it’s like we’ve done a full circle, where we started is where we’re ending, and uh you know I owe a lot to Cannes too for the success of this film.

Yes I’ve been training Wushu all my life, and there’s so many things we call Wushu martial art and kung fu, there’s a lot of things, and kung fu is more like power destroy, Wushu is about educate people more protect than attack, and it’s about um how do you say, kung fu, you say ?, when you fight you have think, when you protect you have to think, you always help people, in Wushu it’s different. Wushu is more class, and when I’m involved I always promote Chinese culture, no matter where I’m going, I’m wearing Chinese culture because I’m Chinese I like to, Wushu I make the movie I can promote at the same time, I promote Wushu, I promote Chinese culture, yeah. I want to let some other young kids know what happens in China when the young kid training Wushu how tough how difficult how disciplined, this kind of message I want to send to the some west, in Korea my son ? in US, you know and no discipline when for dinner they’re playing with things like this, mostly type phone phone phone, when they sit down like this, that’s a different culture. In America okay, but you are Chinese in China you can’t do this, that’s how I teach my son. You have to learn Chinese culture, yeah.

Uh I really thank you the world, I know there’s so many American students with Chinese students together, they donate all the money, in Britain, in France, everybody in the world I think they donate money, really really thank you, and right now we have a lot of money but nothing you could help, that natural desiser… natural things do anything except government, they send more than a hundred thousand army, still cannot do anything, after the earthquake, he want to ?, he just ?, nobody can stop him, and after that then the war took him, the raining, the things and but I believe Chinese government, Chinese army, the world people, the world who helping, we can win, we can win the war.

These last couple days I just finished the Olympic song and Saturday we just the Taiwan, Hong Kong, all the Chinese actors within one song for the earthquake people, and I’m the producer in China. And I do sing, I suppose I’m not the professional singer but now I’m becoming a kind of professional singer, whatever the big event that they now sing they have to call me, Jackie let’s sing something.

Because he’s a new director, he’s promoting Wushu, and also I believe that these kind of situations they do need help. If they don’t have a big name to support, problem nobody can buy the movie even if I’m not here, the press nobody come, and beside that’s a good script and good director and also they choose the good people, and also I’m the producer, I will look after them and I will make sure the movie can release to show people, and so this why Antony, yes.
