00:01:35 77.07	Sound Bite: David Yates You know we’ve had a premiere in Paris and a premiere in London and its kind of like this, everybody goes crazy for Harry Potter and everybody goes crazy for Rupert and Emma so its uh, you know traveling with them is like traveling with the Beatles its unbelievable and there the sweetest loveliest kids and very centered and levelheaded so they kind of recognize this for what it is which is great enthusiasm and there grateful for it and we’re grateful for it.

00:02:20 122.07	Sound Bite: David Yates Completely at home, it was like coming home in fact and they made me feel there always, I think they did lots of homework on me before I turned up you know what is David Yates like, what’s he done, let’s look at all of his work. And they like being uhm tested and pushed as actors and I really pushed them cause I felt they were right now to find depth and nuance in some of the complicated things emotionally we were looking at in the film but they made me feel fantastically at home.

So uhm very different film than Order of the Phoenix, I’m very proud of Order of the Phoenix, its intense and emotional, Half Blood Prince is Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll, (talks) yeah what are we all going to do, its going to be a real shame when Jo finally finishes the stories but like everybody else I cant wait to see.

00:08:12 474.07	Sound Bite: Michael Goldenberg You know I think its just staying true to the book, staying true to the book and the honesty of the book and that’s we were all trying to do right from the beginning is to do the best possible movie version of the book and when everybody’s on the same page about that stuff it makes it easy.

00:10:27 609.07	Sound Bite: David Heyman How could it ever get old, I mean this is the fifth Harry Potter but it is the first one we’ve had US premiere we’ve had in La and the enthusiasm and excitement of the fans that’s something you can never get tired of. And these books, each book had a different challenges and different opportunities and and Jo Rowling keeps us inspired and the fans keep coming, its great.
00:10:52 634.07	Sound Bite: David Heyman Well I think the biggest challenge is to be true to the spirit of the books, is to acknowledge that we can’t keep everything in but to make the choice, the best choice that we can. And if we make a film that’s true to the books then I think the audience will be happy and the real hardcore fans we’ll always have some that say oh you’ve left this out and trust me I get, there are things that kill me that we can’t keep in. But you have to, the films and books are a different medium and we have to make the best film we can and as I say that sometimes means leaving things we love out.
00:11:28 670.07	Sound Bite: David Heyman Well in various ways, one they’ve completely remained unaffected buy this all, there good kids you know they’re warm, there generous and there committed. Uhm also as actors there getting, better and better and better and they’re able to, this is the fourth director they’re working with on the Harry Potter films, they know there characters well but they’re willing to embrace the new directors and there realizing that each time they can learn and do better. And I think this film they do there best performances ever and that’s really exciting.
00:12:04 706.07	Sound Bite: David Heyman Yeah I’m really excited about it, what’s amazing to me is here we are we’ve read six books, I’ve been intimately involved with them all uhm and no them inside out and yet I and none of the fans know what going to happen in a world where so much of its culture is predictable, so many movies you know when go in you know what’s going to happen in the end, with this, we don’t know and we want to know and there’s thing a website says this and theories that’s amazing so I cant wait to read it.

00:18:29 1091.07	Sound Bite: Rupert Grint Its really crazy actually, yeah I think this has been the biggest one ever I think, so getting out of the car was quite scary because I was shaking a bit I don’t know (talks) No I don’t think so, not when its like this. I mean all of the premieres has been relatively large and this has been a lot of people but this is just been crazy yeah, it’s a really good film.

00:19:12 1134.07	Sound Bite: Rupert Grint This one he’s a lot more grown up, in the last one he was going through a bit of an awkward stage with girls and he was falling out with Harry all the time and getting jealous uh but this time he’s a lot more sort of focused and a lot more uh tougher I guess so it was fun to do that as well.

I’m going to try, learn it though, next time.

00:26:07 1549.07	Sound Bite: Daniel Radcliffe Uhm I think that’s very hard to say obviously the impacts been huge, I suppose the main thing is its got a generation of kids into reading, myself included, I wasn’t really a reader before I read Harry Potter and now I’m sort of you know I devour any literature I can find really. Uhm so yeah I think that would probably be the main impact it’s had.

00:27:41 1643.07	Sound Bite: Daniel Radcliffe I think the films are just, I think that it comes down to the fact that its brilliant stories and that there fantastic and that there told brilliantly not only by J.K. Rowling but there told fantastically by the directors who take on the various books. So I think to be able to honest that’s what it comes down to, there just brilliant stories and there told well.

00:31:54 1896.07	Sound Bite: Chris Rankin Its amazing, this is the first American premiere I’ve been to and I was at the London one on Tuesday and all the fans came out there and there’s more of them here, it makes, its things like this when you realize just how huge Harry Potter is.

00:32:23 1925.07	Sound Bite: Chris Rankin You know I really like it because I think it keeps the films nice and fresh and I mean we had the same director for the first two movies and that was great because it was a nice introduction but now every movie we’ve had someone different, its been nice to get a change feel the film go in a slightly different direction every time. It just keeps it fresh.

She really like people are really surprised at how she acts to Umbridge she’s kind of the one who comes up with the DA she comes up with it all she’s really part of the action in this one. I mean in the 4th one she kind of took the back seat she was watching Harry supporting him but in this one she’s dragging the boys around again like she was in the third so its cool.
