Sound Bite: Chris Brown talks about how he was attracted to this movie and Stomp the Yard. Actually Screen Gems came to me with both of these movies, and told me they had these movies, and I was like “well okay,” and I was really into it. A lot of the movies I look at the cast, and the first movie was a great cast as well, but it was showing a different side of dance that I liked. But with this movie it was a tremendous cast that everybody would really go for and I really liked that part and that’s why I signed on. A02. HRN-1594 In: 03:58:14 Out: 03:58:28 Sound Bite: Chris Brown talks about what his main focus was for the film. I think this one, with this movie my acting was probably the main focus for me, but then with the singing it was just natural, that especially it was a Christmas movie so it kinda felt good to do both of those. A03. HRN-1594 In: 03:58:31 Out: 03:58:53 Sound Bite: Chris Brown talks about his acting process. Not really I didn’t, like, for this movie didn’t really have an acting coach or things like that I was more on the lines of “okay let’s just do this.” (Talks) Not really I was just trying to have it natural, I learned, I would say my acting coaches would be the actors around me, you know what I’m sayin, because I follow what they do and I listen to their advice. A04. HRN-1594 In: 03:58:56 Out: 03:59:08 Sound Bite: Chris Brown talks about what he’s learned from the other actors. Well a lot of the stuff, just that their facial expressions, the way they approach their lines, the way they go about studying them reading them things like that. I just learned their techniques. A05. HRN-1594 In: 03:59:13 Out: 03:59:33 Sound Bite: Chris Brown talks about the cast. I knew Columbus Short before because of Stomp The Yard um as well as Laz Alonso but a lot of the people I really didn’t really know know like that (talks) like, I’ve seen them around, but I really didn’t know them like that, but with this movie it gave me a different chance to like bond with them it was really like family. A06. HRN-1594 In: 03:59:37 Out: 03:59:48 Sound Bite: Chris Brown I say it’s a great family movie, you know what I’m sayin, it’s a great holiday family movie that’s got a lot of comedy/drama, you know what I’m sayin uh, I would say semi-action a little bit. A07. HRN-1594 In: 03:59:54 Out: 04:00:07 Sound Bite: Chris Brown talks about what characters he relates to. I think I could relate to my character a lot trying to be a musical artist um you know what I’m saying um really being almost the baby of the family so I can relate to it. A08. HRN-1594 In: 04:00:11 Out: 04:00:21 Sound Bite: Chris Brown talks about his future films I got a movie I’m about to start, it’s called ____ so it’s a basketball movie so that’s what I’m looking forward to doing now as well as my album comes out November sixth. It’s called “Exclusive”, so it’s a new album. Yeah |
