In: 11.43.47 Out: 11.44.34 Sound Bite: Sienna Miller – on working with the director He’s a great friend of mine and has been for a long time so I knew him very well. But his he’s got a really clear vision. I mean to me he’s a complete artist. He actually was an artist before and he did an amazing film about Francis Bacon called Love is the Devil and he kind of paints with cinema. That probably sounds completely pretentious but he’s genius, he was like a punk in the 80s, he’s really live life to the fullest and um and I think he really understands filmmaking and is great with actors, playing, blasting punk music on set, even though we’re in the 40s. I mean there are no rules with him, but he’s, he knows what he wants and he’s very good at kind of whispering to you to get what he wants instead of being dogmatic or you know. |

In: 11.44.57 Out: 11.45.22 Sound Bite: Sienna Miller – does she know anyone like these characters I mean I think in a lot of relationships um you know I know several people who can live with and can’t live without each other um I think it’s quite relatable to story and um and the relationships are very real and these people actually existed and this was genuinely the relationship that they had so I think we’ve all come across similar people in similar situations. |

In: 11.45.26 Out: 11.46.07 Sound Bite: Sienna Miller – how familiar was she with the poetry of Dylan Thomas I was pretty familiar. I studied literature at school so he was you know I think it’s kind of mandatory to read Under Milkwood if you’re from that area of the world. Um and Richard Burton you know I mean it’s fully engrained in our culture not that Wales would be happy being dragged into the English culture but close enough. Um I’m a huge fan of his work I think he’s one of the best, if not the best poets that’s ever lived uh but I’m more familiar now. I definitely read more of his stuff I hadn’t read or refamiliarized myself with it. um I think people should definitely get into it if they haven’t heard of him because he’s wonderful. |

In: 11.46.26 Out: 11.46.48 Sound Bite: Sienna Miller – is she excited about where her career’s headed I am yeah. I mean I, you know, I’m really proud of this film and then I’ve got GI Joe coming out which is a big a big big big action, amazingly fun film. And then I’m doing a play on Broadway so I kind I hop around a lot and do different things but you know I’ve got, been given an award at ShoWest so that’s very exciting. |
