Sound Bite: Mark Wahlberg – how’s the story get pitched
Well nobody really pitched it to me really other than his really uhm which was, he didn’t have to sell me that hard I’ve been a big fan, I’ve actually been giving him crap about not hiring me for quite some time. But uh we had dinner and he said this is Kramer vs. Kramer meets the birds and I was like oh ok and then I went and read it and I was like wow, I thought uh I thought there was a, there was a good comparison but I also thought for me, my own selfish reasons what a great opportunity to play a character that I rarely get an opportunity. |

Sound Bite: Mark Wahlberg – script was a page turner
It was but it was but it was a page turner so it was like you know so it was just like you know I’d have to go back and read it again to really start paying attention to how I could actually play this character because you just start reading it and you’re right in the moment. |

Sound Bite: Mark Wahlberg – real science behind movie
Yes, Night continued to pump me with real information you know that thing about honey bees is real, obviously millions of bees disappeared primordial bacteria in Austria. He didn’t, it didn’t take him long to convince me that this was very possible. |
