This is my first time being with Madea. (talks) Uhm it is exciting, its uh because this is one of the men that a lot of the countries talking about. You know Hollywood has been trying to figure out how does this man do it and how he does it. So it was great to kind of be reporting uh honestly from a rumor, you know from a rumor side but to also see it from a real point of view and uh you know it was majestic. His dream, his story, his studio, everything.

Uhm what I learned was that there’s a way to get everything done and to get everything done is that you can create your own system, it doesn’t have to have someone else’s approval, it can just have your approval. And that’s what Tyler Perry Studios is, is his approval.

Uh I managed not to crack up because you know there were two sides of the story there was the comedic side and then there was the dramatic side. I had more, I had the side where I carried a flame of the heart side, my journey was about finding himself and and in order for him to go on he had to deal with some you know emotions, he had to deal with uh forgiveness and Madea’s side man Tyler had fun, he got to dress up as Madea run around, kick, scream, so uh but they uh make a marriage and they both come together.

No he didn’t direct me in costume but in my mind he was in a costume so you know that was between me and myself. But uh when I, uh you know Tyler, you know when I saw him I saw him with you know the directors hat, I didn’t get to see him with the prosthetics which was fun.
