Sound Bite: Chris O’Donnell – “Mr. Kittredge” – Kit Kittredge An American Girl
The Producer and Director, um, you know, it’s fun having not one kid but a bunch of kids on the set, cause it really does change the whole atmosphere, sometimes when there’s one child, hey guys, sometimes when there’s one child on a film set, it’s a little worrisome, cause the crew forgets there’s a kid around, on this one it was they were kids, and that’s how it was going to be, it changes everything. |

Sound Bite: Chris O’Donnell – “Mr. Kittredge” – Kit Kittredge An American Girl
She is very talented, very prepared, and um, she gets it, she just doesn’t show up and was rehearsing with her mom and can do it, she’s listening, she’s a very good actress, she’s listening to the other performer and she’s reacting, and making adjustments, and that’s how you can tell with kids if they know what they are doing. |

Sound Bite: Abigail Breslin – “Kit Kittredge” – Kit Kittredge An American Girl
I play Kitt Kittredge and she is a girl who is growing up during the Great Depression, and I really like Kit, because she you know, she’s really clever, really curious, she wants to be a journalist, so she always writes down notes and everything. OC: And you had to learn how to something special for this movie, what was it? Abigail: I had to learn how to tape write, which I had never done before, so I was like where is the screen and they said there is no screen, what!, so that was just insane. |
