Jonah- No I just didn’t I wasn’t gonna be in the movie, no I was in knocked up and 40-Year Old Virgin I had worked with Judd and Seth a lot but since Seth and I are such good friends Seth and Evan and I we’re the same age pretty much their a year older than me I just obviously wasn’t natural to think of me ads 17 or 18 yr old because I’m the same age as them but luckily Seth has aged terribly and I have aged wonderfully and you know they really couldn’t find a person to play the part and Michael was so great they new it was him for the other part but eventually I was just kinda hiding in plain site Judd was like could you look younger if you shaved and kinda you know worked on it maybe you know and I was like yeah and Seth and I made a tape and then that’s how I became to be in Superbad (talks) Michael- well I never felt a need to do a movie when I was doing a show plus you can’t really with the schedule and I wanted it to be the right thing you know and there was no reason to rush into anything because I didn’t have a mortage to pay off or children’s mouth’s to feed at the time and this came along and I felt really drawn to it and it was nice I was lucky to get it I auditioned ten times, Jonah- have your kids seen it yet Michael- No they’re far too young, don’t let your kids see it if they’re under 13, I’ll give my kids another three years before they can see this one Jonah- Mike’s kid’s like five Michael- but he’s pretty savvy Jonah-No he was joking |

Jonah-No I mean you know the movie was made because I personally I all of us actually have a general dis-taste for teen movies like you know I knda generally try to avoid seeing them in general but I (talks) the goal with Seth and Evan and Greg and Judd and all of us was like we could make a really good movie about young people and not have it be like a teen movie like you know and so it was great because everyone can relate to when they were in high school I mean it doesn’t matter how old you are like my parents loved the movie and they were in high school many years ago Michael- everybody’s parents have been to high school and knows people like this people either were these people or familiar with them you know I feel Jonah- So I definitely recalled back on things I was going through while I was in high school Michael- Frustration and you know Jonah- Anxieties |
