Sound bite: Janean Garofalo “Collette”- talks about Janean’s accent in the film
Uh I got le French accent well cuz she was French I had to and I had a CD of a French man speaking English so I listened to that and hopefully it worked at well but I was nervous that it was going to be laughably laugh I’m glad you didn’t notice me I’ll take that as a good sign [talks] no even in animation there’s standard’s for the lady’s, they uh you gotta look good even in animation you’ve seen Little Mermaid and Pocahontas and all that you gotta look a certain way even animated that’s the way it works no they didn’t want to have her look like a 42 year old with bad skin who doesn’t go to the gym with tattoo’s they opted Disney to not go that route. [talks] sure, yah oh you can be strong but you can’t look like a 42 year old lady who smoke’s too much no, so they went with that look. |

Sound bite: Janean Garofalo “Collette”- Ratatouille being different from other Pixar films.
No I know each one is different each one tops the last one um which you wouldn’t think could be possible and I know this is different than the incredible’s but it’s the same team working on it so I knew it would be creative and good. That’s why I did it. |
