Yeah its you know its to say I’m like Harold Crick wouldn’t be totally accurate but I am you know I’m defiantly not a comedian that’s on all the time and I do have my kind of quiet moments of concentration and that’s Harold Crick’s whole life is someone who lives, has everything planned out by the second and while I don’t do that I do, you know I’m not out there kind of going look at me so there are some similarities. |

No exactly that’s a kind of conventional wisdom behind that but this was I think just such a wonderful opportunity for a totally different type of movie and its head kind of just popped up and I jumped at the chance to be a part of it. But it wasn’t you know, I haven’t been searching for the right kind of little more serious type of project you know that type of thing. |

Absolutely you know its and its kind of, it was so great to get to work with people that you admire to begin with and also to find out that there really fun and interesting people and Mark Forest is a director that I really look up to and so it was kind of all the elements together in a kind of perfect storm of a film that I’m really proud of. |

Yeah it was such a unique story that I felt like I hadn’t really seen this type of movie before or this story told in such a way and I was, I hadn’t read a script that I found as interesting and as funny but also moved me to the point to where I literally was kind of you know brought to tears by the end, by the time I read the end of it and I haven’t read anything like that before so it was the, it was pretty unique. |

I’m getting a sense of it yeah (talks) No it was, I mean that’s really flattering. I mean it was kind of a magical screening that night at the film festival and like you know they totally keyed into a movie that was in such a way that it was, and it was the first time the cast had gotten to see the movie together and Emma Thompson turned to me and said ‘who knew’ who knew that it would work on so many different levels and that’s what that’s the best way to describe this film that there’s something for everyone and its just you know it’s a comedy, it’s a drama, its everything but its also just a great movie. |
