Leon walking boy to sleeping compartment. Boy climbs up ladder to bed assisted by Leon, and Leon climbs up joining boy in the small bed compartment. Leon undresses boy, pulling off his shoes and jacket as the boy complains about everything.

Bratty boy climbing out of bed compartment still complaining. Boy stepping on man's face from bed below. Mother, hearing the commotion pokes her head out and looks surprised. Bad bad boy she pushes him back into the bunk.

Leon, his head poking out of the curtain speaking with his wife and gets back into the bed with the boy. Boy is still bad and fights with Leon as he tries to undress him. They fight and struggle in the small space. Boy upside down as Leon struggles to take the kid's pants off.

Leon falls out of the bed and lands into someone else's bed. People poking their heads out of the curtains and woman screams for the conductor.

Leon apologizes to conductor. All the people from the other bed compartments poke their heads out of curtains. Wife begs Leon to stay with boy till he falls asleep.

Leon climbs back up ladder into bed compartment with boy and climbs into the bed next to him. Porter removes ladder. Wife calls for Leon, he pokes his head out and wife asks if boy is asleep. People in the other compartments all poke their heads out and yell, "No, not yet!"

Leon back in bed with boy, they count sheep. Leon falls asleep and boy wakes him up.

Boy has shoe box with frog in it. Frog croaks and wakes up Leon.

Boy wants water, Leon goes to get the water. Boy yawns finally and rolls over to sleep. Leon, back with the cup of water, wakes up his wife before climbing back to bed. She pokes her head out angrily.

Leon climbing back up ladder into bed, slips and spills water dumping it on angry man. Wakes everyone up. People poke their heads out and angry man attempts to punch Leon but wife and conductor intervene.

Leon hugs and kisses wife goodnight. Boy pokes head out and angrily asks for his drink of water. He turns and women, surprised, recognize him. Woman asks Leon for advice in raising her child as boy screams again for his water.

Leon at water dispenser. No water and he's frustrated. Boy now out of bed asks mom for drink of water she tells him to get back to bed. Man with a stutter interferes and tries to help. Conductor agrees.

Boy looking everywhere in sleeping compartment for his frog. Leon trips over boy, gets flustered and upset, and counts to 10 so as not to hit the boy. Man in sleeping compartment pokes his head out and hands Leon the book Leon wrote and tells him he's sure it will help him!

Leon, all upset, rips up his own book in a million pieces and throws it. Lifts boy into berth. People in their berths poke their heads out and in unison yell, "Good!".

Leon looking proud snaps his suspenders, turns and looking for his wife, climbs into the wrong berth. There's a scuffle and Leon gets thrown out. Poor Leon with a big black eye.
