SEEING BOSTON, AM&B (1906)
IN 1906 A CAMERAMAN BOARDED A STREETCAR IN BOSTON AND RODE AROUND THE CITY WHEREVER THAT VEHICLE TOOK HIM. THE FILM IS EXCEPTIONAL BECAUSE IT SHOWS BOSTON'S PUBLIC BUILDINGS, ITS SQUARES, AND SUBWAY CONSTRUCTION, AS WELL AS THE LARGE PUBLIC LIBRARY. BOSTON 1900'S

THE SKYSCRAPERS, AM&B (1906)
THE SUBJECT OF THIS MELODRAMA IS BUILT AROUND AND DURING THE ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION OF A SKYSCRAPER IN NEW YORK CITY.
THE STORY BEGINS WITH THE ANTIPATHY OF A CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN FOR ONE OF HIS CREW. HE ULTIMATLY FIRES THE WORKMAN, WHICH LEADS THE DISGRUNTLED EMPLOYEE TO STEAL. THE EX EMPLOYEE CAUSES THE BLAME TO BE PUT ON THE FOREMAN, BUT HE IS EXONERATED WHEN THE THIEF IS EXPOSED. ALL OF THIS CONFLICT IS WOVEN IN AND AROUND THE ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE BUILDING AS THE WORK IS IN PROGRESS. THERE IS EVEN ONE SCENE OF A HAND TO HAND FIGHT BETWEEN THE FOREMAN AND THE VILLAIN THAT TAKES PLACE ON THE UNPROTECTED LEDGE OF THE STEEL FRAMEWORK OF THE BUILDING. NYC 1900'S

25TH INFANTRY, AM&B (1902)
THE SHORT LENGTH OF THE FILM, ITS POOR CONDITION, AND BAD PHOTOGRAPHIC CIRCUMSTANCES MAKE DISCRIPTION DIFFICULT. THE SUBJECT APPEARS TO BE MORE THAN ONE COMPANY OF SOLDIERS MARCHING ALONG A DUSTY ROAD. THE TITLE INDICATES THEY ARE AMERICAN TROOPS, BUT NO IDENTIFICATION IS POSSIBLE.
