Billy – About that much of it (talks) Uh well it was pretty extensive actually they they, the kind of technology that they’re using now is really sort of remarkable. That did a complete laser scan of my body and then they did really high definition photography of all of my features so that they could then download that and then create a 3 dimensional version of me which they would then give me a little hair cut, shade me blue and then put me on a much more uhm well built body and then uh did you ever see that scene in weird science where they’re kind of creating their dream girl and their sizing up Matthew – Kelly LeBrock wasn’t it Billy –yeah it was I think that’s what they kind of did you know with to the body, they stretched it out a little bit, they gave me some shadows and…(talks) I feel that’s gone unnoticed and I appreciate you recognizing that. You’re going to hear a lot about “computers”, Matthew – don’t believe it. Billy - don’t believe it. |

Matthew – Did it bore you to tears or were you alright with it (talks) Billy – he says that about everything. Matthew – yeah I say that about everything (talks) yeah no incredibly fortunate that Zach took quite a leap of faith really cause its not, its hardly, its not that much in the can to look back at and go he seems to have the credentials to play smartest man in the world. Uhm so yeah I thank him for that hugely. But I mean that’s the great thing about the graphic novel is that you know and why it was, it was, you know ? with the genre it that all these characters are so morally ambiguous and its just there’s nothing back white in at all so that does give you extraordinary amount of stuff, aided detail is all their practically because it gives you so much to play around with and you can get lost in it and that’s also another one of the things that people need to remember about Zach is that he not only create the world but also get us through the project which was you know I’ll shut up now but he’s more than incredible. Billy – Well the script came my way actually uh after I read the first couple of pages cause frankly when I head that you know they were going to send me a script to read that was based on a comic book and was being produced by a studio I didn’t actually think I would be spending that long reading it. I figured about after four pages I’d get the gist of it and it was likely that it wouldn’t be something I was so interested in but after two pages I was like wow alright this is something novel I better call my younger brother who will definitely know what this is. And uh he gave me a very clear indication that this was formidable material and I should read on. |

Matthew – Well I didn’t know, its not a world I knew particularly well I mean certainly from other movies what what I liked about is the fact that you know I mean certainly with my character whose seen as morally repugnant uhm you know what he sets out to try and achieve is and some would call him a villain is he wants to save the world and so its just its flipped on its head on how it should normally be uhm I was slightly put off when I looked at the, when I looked at the graphic novel for the first time that he was wearing a skirt for quite a bit of it and I was thrilled when they changed that. But yeah he’s just a really great character and and also what was a real draw is I knew, I knew that Patrick and Jackie and Billy were already involved and I kind of thought well looks like there gonna, you know looks like I’d learn a hell of a lot working with those guys. |
