In: 23.11.32 Out: 23.12.20 Sound Bite: Emmy Rossum & Justin Chatwin – on getting bruises Emmy – Totally. Justin – Yeah we got some nice bruises. Emmy – I got a good one, right, this chick got me like right in the face. Justin - its always interesting like when actors start doing stunts with other actors because the stunts, because the stunt men have this thing called the box, its like you don’t hit outside the box. So you throw a punch, you stop right there. Emily – Your arm stops right there so you don’t hit them. Justin – But an actor comes in who actually starts going like no I think I’m a ninja – Emily – A Method Acting. Justin – I’m a method actor who’s a ninja. So its, we start going outside the box and I like got walloped once, like went down from a punch in the jaw. I broke a toe. Emily – I got hit so hard in the dace it looked like I had collegian in my upper lip. Justin – Yeah you had some bruises. Emily – It’s an interesting look for me. (talks) Emily – it goes down you ice it. |

In: 23.12.26 Out: 23.13.09 Sound Bite: Emmy Rossum & Justin Chatwin – working on a wire Justin – The wire like, the wire wasn’t like my favorite thing definitely because Emmy – It gives you a massive Weggy. Justin – you’re – you’re in this thing, yeah this thing it just gives you a huge weggy. Its like you tighten this up, you gotta tighten this up, its literally like a ten minute operation so on those days, on that, we were doing night shoots for that final scene, we were like slamming down energy drinks and after that, so much of that drinking you know we’d be in the middle of a scene and I’d be like “I gotta pee, I gotta pee right now”. And we’d have to run off and its like Emmy – it’s like 20 minutes to get the harness off. Justin – And the entire crews like sitting like your, you know its like a 20 minute operation. So it wasn’t my favorite thing but it was fun. |

In: 23.13.29 Out: 23.14.18 Sound Bite: Emmy Rossum & Justin Chatwin – Emmys movie choices Emmy – Uhm I kind of have the philosophy about life that is just kind of very fluid and I don’t just decide that I’m going to go in this direction or go in that direction. I don’t really calculate my moves or strategize, maybe that’s not good but I’m just kind of a more fluid more organic kind of person so uhm music is a part of my everyday life and I I still write music and I’m working on a second record right now but Opera is something that takes, and the classical music world takes all of your time and all of your energy and I couldn’t do it justice at this point in my life. (talks) Plus shooting guns, riding motorcycles and dying your hair blue with Justin Chatwin is pretty awesome. |

In: 23.14.22 Out: 23.15.21 Sound Bite: Emmy Rossum & Justin Chatwin – on chow Emmy – He does, he’s, he’s a funny guy, he’s also a kind guy. There was a day when we’d been working 17 hours and the crew was exhausted and we were going into over time and he was like ‘everyone just stop on set’ and he knew everyone’s name on set and said come outside and he had rented this big hotdog van and vender and everyone got to kind of like take a half and hour, have a second meal and uhm he was just so giving and generous and just an awesome guy. (talks) Justin – I was a fan of Chow like from all that you know Hard Boiled and John Woo’s work and I thought he was going to be real serious and the first time I met him like I was like a little bit nervous you know this is like Chow Young Fat and walked up to him and he just like grabbed me and tussled my hair and like shook me around and I was like… Emmy – This guy is awesome. Justin – he started like laughing at the top of his lungs like this kabuki sort of wacky guy you know. Uh he does a great job with his character, it’s definitely a different character, I’ve never seen him play before. |
