FOOTAGE BEGINS WITH A CLOSE-UP VIEW OF GRAND MARSHAL MATTHEW FATS HOUSTON. HE IS WEARING A SASH WITH THE WORD MUSICIANS" ON IT. THE SASH IS HELD IN PLACE ACROSS HIS CHEST BY FLOWERS AT THE SHOULDER AND WAIST. ANDERSON MINOR IS SEEN AS A SECOND GRAND MARSHAL, AND WEARS A PLAIN SASH. THEY ARE SHOWN LEAVING THE RHODES FUNERAL HOME AT 1716 N. CLAIBORNE AVENUE. A BRASS BAND MADE UP OF MEMBERS FROM VARIOUS BANDS, FOLLOW THE GRAND MARSHALS. THE GROUP PASSES Q'S JAZZ ROOM AND ARE SHOWN LINED UP ON BOTH SIDES OF CLAIBORNE AVENUE AS THE AUTOMOBILES IN THE FUNERAL PROCESSION PASS."
