Sound Bite: Heather Graham & Tom Cavanagh
Cavanagh – Sure he was too Heather – Yeah he was, imagine holding a steady cam and then running around. Cavanagh – for like four minutes exactly right, the truth of that is you know that thing wasn’t edited together, that’s pretty much one whole take and so the camera man had to be astute and ready and know all of his moves while you know shooting our moves. So that was certainly was a fun, that was a fun scene to do. Heather – It was, it was kind of a dream come true cause I watch all those old movies and Fred Estaire and Ginger Rodgers and always wanted to do a dance scene like that. Cavanagh – And now you have my friend. Heather – With Tom Cavanagh Cavanagh – Yeah so you know maybe not complete success but at least at least you got to do a dance scene. Heather – Part of the thing yeah. Cavanagh – Hehehe yeah well done. |

Cavanagh – Nice, look at you trying to create controversy Heather – oooo Cavanagh – Don’t answer that question you’re just going to hurt someone’s feelings. Heather – Well I have to say that Bridgette was more fun to kiss Cavanagh – What, what, what oh kiss Heather – But Tom was more fun to dance with Cavanagh – Oh nice I like that Heather – Tom is actually really fun (talks) Cavanagh – No No cause we didn’t kiss Heather –We never kiss Cavanagh – I’ll take that answer that’s great Heather – I don’t know why I went to the kiss but uh Cavanagh – I like it Heather – Tom is a really good dancer Cavanagh – Thank you |

Heather – I think that the movies really light hearted and fun and its not taking some preachy position or some really judgmental, its just kind of like embrace who you are, enjoy who you are, just like be happy and I think that’s really good, it’s a happy movie. Cavanagh – Be happy. Heather – Be happy Cavanagh – it’s a good message. |

Heather – We were on the same episode Cavanagh – we were on the same episode Heather – but we did work together Cavanagh – we did work together our story lines did not collide. Heather – thank god Cavanagh – it would have been a collision I’ll tell you that much Heather – that was just wow Cavanagh – You know that would have been too too much intensity for one television screen, I think the people at Touchstone and NBC were just like you know what Heather – that chemistry’s going to be too explosive keep them apart Cavanagh – its too much inflammatory yeah, were not looking for great ratings were looking for good ratings that was the thing. |

Cavanagh – Sue Crammer is a ball of fire, she is jet engine combustibility Heather – Yeah she’s got so much energy, she’s like a force pushing the movie forward. And she’s really, she wrote it about her sister so it felt really personal and she was really and her sister was there and it was great, it felt like a family affair. Cavanagh – A family affair, we should have called it a family affair. Heather – (sings) it’s a family affair. Cavanagh – uh it was great, she was great and I mean we had a great time working together. |
