Sound bite: Daniel Radcliffe – talks about change in everyone
Well I think everyone took a big leap forward in terms of their performances this time around that’s very much due to David Yates our director who just uh was fantastic at pushing us and challenging us in different ways which we all really responded to um so other then that I mean we say this every year but the film is darker and I think that’s now a trend that will, will seize with this one and I imagine they’ll continue to get darker and darker um so yah I don’t know other than that there’s a great sense of continuity that David managed to retain while also adding his own sort of edge to it and sort of grittiness which is, which is you know which is fantastic. |

Sound bite: Daniel Radcliffe – talks about switching directors
It is a challenge in a way because you know you have to adjust to a new style of direction but working with David was just such a please and I think he’s just made the most brilliant film because he sort of managed to take the brittishness of Mike Newell at with the charm of Chris Columbus films and also this sort of visual flare that Alfonso had and also as I said he’s added this edge to us he’s done a really fantastic job and so I think having a new director really keeps us all on our toes really which is very important. |

Sound bite: Daniel Radcliffe – talks about working with some of the greatest actors
I do learn a lot but I mean the two people that I do learn the most from I’d say would both be people in this film which is um Imelda who played Umbridge and Gary Oldman who uh both of who I’m very close to off screen and um yah I think I work with some amazing actors as you say but I think I personally think those two for me it’s sort of in the elements really that I’ve just loved working with them so much and I think that both are remarkable actors. |

Sound bite: Daniel Radcliffe – talks about who he stays in touch with
With Gary I have yah exactly I worked with Richard Griffiths again of course in a completely different capacity obviously then he had um filled when he was Vernon um you know working with him as ?Diceot? on stage was incredible um it was fantastic and an honor really um I tell you that I certainly keep in contact with Gary um and you know we get along really well so yah but yah in terms of Rupert we see each other so much during the year that you know when we all together its always nice to take a break. |

Sound bite: Daniel Radcliffe – talks about taking a break from Harry Potter with the play
It was a break it was a very um it was a very busy break but it was a break other wise it was certainly a break from Harry Potter yah and it was um which was nice, which was nice to get that and I think I learned things in Equus which I’ll be able which will hold me in really good stead for the future and you know specifically in Harry Potter 6. |

Sound bite: Daniel Radcliffe – talks about how the play challenged him

Sound bite: Daniel Radcliffe – talks about last Harry Potter
Two more defiantly yes, after that there are no more, I did have a minor heart attack one day actually when I woke up and sometimes you get little adverbs pop up on your phone and one of them said rolling promises eighth Harry Potter book and so I sort of went ah for a moment but then I calmed down when actually I think she’s doing like an encyclopedia of magic which is going to be released but it was a terrifying moment [mike talks] yes but I think there are only two more. |
