An unknown spokeswoman for California's Great America Theme Park in Santa Clara is interviewed outside by an unseen reporter. She talks about a lawsuit brought against the park whereby the plaintiffs accused the park of not allowing people who were wearing telltale signs of gang membership into the amusement park.

The spokeswoman discusses how they settled the suit with the ACLU with new park 'code of conduct' regulations. She goes on to say that their new policy is strictly conduct oriented - they will not allow someone who is intoxicated or who was causing trouble or disorderly. They now have better security and new metal detectors, and she states the policy is working.

She states they no longer look for something the person is wearing that indicates they are a gang member, they strictly only enforce rules for unruly conduct. In addition, she addresses the discrimination issues that were brought forward in the lawsuit - expelling people from the park based on race. She states that Great America does not discriminate and they reflect the ethnic population of the area both in hiring practices and guests.
