Pettis – we did a couple screen tests we did a couple auditions together and uhm yeah we did like two or three
Rock – we did two yeah I think we did two or three but you know the very first time Madison walked in the room, the very first time I saw her Madison had met the director and the producers on some other auditions that she had uh she blew me away and clearly she’s uhm she’s everything that she’s not only in Game Plan and in person and now you know when you meet her she’s just very very talented and loving and endearing and warm and caring and all those things so the very first time I met Madison I looked at Andy the director and I said we really got something her, she’s really really special. Whether she got the role or not uhm you knew big things, great things were going to happen with Madison. Talented little girl, I think when you’re talented and smart and and more importantly than all those elements uhm if you got a good parent, if you got a good up bringing than you got a shoot at being a good girl

Pettis – no I’m dead serious
Rock – we were very serious in doing that, you know I think uhm for me I love comedies and anytime I can, its very rewarding to me to make audiences laugh through comedy uhm you know there were a lot of elements with this here and we talked about it uhm in the past of you know it starts with the material and when materials great and when its funny on the page, we had three great writers, but when its funny on the page as its written you got a shot at making a great comedy than uhm you start casting and you know we have the lovely and talented little Madison Pettis she’s this big star on the Disney Channel, soon to be big star around the world uhm that element fell into place and then you combine that with the fact that it’s a Disney movie and what’s comforting about a Disney movie is the wild area of ages and ethnicity’s and people that reaches all around the world. Uhm and not only that Disney understands family classic, they understand uh you know a movie with a great family message and uhm you can always count on a happy ending and we love happy endings in movies there great!
