Sound Bite: Rachel McAdams – What was it about this character?
Um, (talking) Um right yeah um I think that you know I think that I can be very naive sometimes, laughs, I think that uh I think that part of growing up is coming to grips with fantasy vs. reality which I think we all go through and Cloe is defiantly going through that in this point of her life um I think that uh I have a real need to connect with people around me and have meaningful relationships and I think Cloe takes it quite a few steps further but um she’s looking for companionship everywhere she goes.(talking) Yeah she was a private.

Sound Bite: Rachel McAdams – what did you take from your character being a private and a little lost coming back from the war.
(talking) Yeah she was a private. (talking) Right, um I find some of them are, some of the women that I met that I was fortunate enough to talk to were um you know very grounded you know they had been through a lot they are very strong people I didn’t know them before but I imagine they gained such an incredible strength and spirit but um um they oh sorry I totally lost my train of thought. (talking) Well I mean I found that that a lot of the soldiers would grin and bear injuries and just sort of press on and um I think that’s just the way is goes so and I think that that harkens back to her experience you know in the war and you know carry on.
