To have guns? I could without a doubt say that’s the worst idea in the history of the world. I mean if you smoke marijuana you should not be allowed to have a gun. That’s not a good combo.

Well I mean I’ve done a few comedies so it’s to me it’s I don’t even make that distinction anymore. I think it’s uh, whatever you’re doing you’re just doing a character the result is what it’s supposed to be is up to the audience. So whatever’s real and whatever’s right for the character, that’s all I’m concerned with.

Well what I think this movie will do I think because I haven’t seen all of it when I read it I just kept laughing out loud, it’s every guy that’s sat on a couch you know getting high watching an action movie, going, “Wow man.” And all of a sudden those 2 guys are in, all of a sudden are inside that story. Those guys, not guys prepared for it, not James Bond guys, guys that freak out because they see you know the wrong light come on in the refrigerator. And now they’re dealing with drug dealers and they can’t handle it too well you know, hence the comedy.

Dude all my friends are stoners hahaha. I’m from Washington state man everybody smokes weed over there. Hey dude this is more like it turns into like an all-out action comedy so it’s not just a stoner comedy, but yeah at the same time yes I have tons of stoner friends and I mean it’s cool, I mean I don’t smoke personally but it’s all good.

I uh, you know Seth co-wrote script and I guess my character’s is based on somebody that they know. I was not allowed to meet that person, um so the character just kind of like you know I don’t know was put together from a lot of different elements but no real one person that I got to meet. But after you know people see it, they come up to me and say hey man I know that guy I know it and everybody I guess knows somebody like him and you know I don’t know you just kind of put the wig on and that was it.

Um it was fun my character I tried to play with straight comedy and it was very very physical it was hard work, but it was a lot of fun at the same time, you know. And it was a different character for me which I thoroughly enjoyed doing.

This is very similar to all of my friends that I know. They are very much like these people, so in some regards this is almost a documentary. You know it’s incredible.

It was really an idea Judd had just to make a weed action/comedy and you know me and uh Evan had a lot of personal experience with one of those things uh not action and we thought we could make a movie about that and uh yeah we really tried to make the best version of that type of movie.

Oh I definitely think they should. You know uh yeah you know if alcohol’s legal and tobacco’s legal and there’s no reason weed shouldn’t be legal so yeah I think they totally should.

(talks) I don’t know if there’s weird stories about it, I mean I don’t you know I’m from Vancouver, weed’s very part of the culture there so yeah I know tons of guys that smoke a lot of weed. They’re fully functional members of society they uh they do good things for people and I think they shouldn’t be given a hard time about it.
