OTS firemen in truck, on phone; NX- T/U burning building (flames shooting from windows). Man w/ child climbs down fire escape ladder w/ help from police; NX- Old style fire engine/truck passes camera. OTS POV firemen driving to scene of fire. Fire chief on CB radio; NX- Firemen and police raising heavy ladders, truck ladder. Flames coming out of window. Person rescued from fire escape; NX- Fire chief sets up command center at car, looking at maps & discussing plans. Firefighters arriving, dragging out hoses; NX- Fireman carries fire victim from bldg. Fire in window. CU's firemen faces. Firemen carrying ladder. Truck passing; NX- Firefighters on fire escape (lots of smoke). Ladder truck arrives, crew in action. Fire victims rescued (fireman on stretcher); NX- Fire victim on stretcher placed in ambulance. Firefighters rescue victim; DX- Firefighters training w/ equipment: using ladders, rescue techniques, hose usage (CU on water pressure gauges, using hydrants); DX-Firefighters at chalk board training program held outside; NX/DX- T/U city bldg fire, firefighters on ladders, helping fire victims, var; DX/INT- T/U firestation bay door closing. Firemen in station cleaning the hoses, having coffee together at table; INT- Fireman sitting in 'Watch Room' at desk reading newspaper, he jumps into action (on phone, flipping switchboard switches); INT-Legs (from knee to foot) clothed in male pants and shoes running thru doorway/hall. CU hand pushing down switchboard levers; INT/DX- Firemen getting dressed, driving off in trucks. Low angle shot of fire engine wheels passing ;
