Sound Bite: Jennifer Garner – on movie being fun
Right, Right yeah it, to me the movie works into the audiences that I saw with totally without thinking about all of the different levels of politics or anything else it just works as a movie. (talks) that’s there defiantly (talks) its supposed to be so I’m glad (talks) it was pretty fun, yeah because I’ve never gotten that kind of response before, they uhm, or have never gotten to be in that scene of a movie. But yeah there was a big cheer and uhm applause, it was fun. That’s what’s fun about actually going to the movie theatre instead of renting something at home uhm is that you get to be part of the group experience.
Sound Bite: Jennifer Garner
My stunt double, you know I’ve done enough of it now that I know the basis and then my stunt double teaches me whatever we’re doing that day and in this case it was barely choreographed, it was like the cameras are going to be here, the cameras going to be here, try to get, try to bite em, try to scratch him, grab his hair and ready go. And he and I were, we were just scrabbling you know the way you would in a really raw and realistic way instead of it being really choreographed and clean.
Sound Bite: Jennifer Garner – on movie being in Sadie Arabia
We’re in Arizona, (talks) I didn’t go, yeah I wasn’t in that scene (talks) yeah Jamie went and Jason went (Talks) yeah you cant ask me about that, I’ve never been there.
Sound Bite: Jennifer Garner – on Jason Bateman
I know doesn’t he, isn’t he so good in this movie, he’s so much fun to have around and then so incredibly serious about the work when it comes down to the work, its always jarring because he seems so goofy that he, he and Pete have this in common that they, they seem to not be that serious and then you kind of go wait oh wow ok I have to get serious you guys really know what’s going on here. And since then Jason and I have worked together again (talks) He gets serious right before the cameras roll and say let me just clarify this and you kind of say oh right ok we’re making a movie I should probably stop goofing around. (talks) We did Juno together this little movie.
Sound Bite: Jennifer Garner – on choosing roles
Well I have something that helps me naturally prioritize uhm or or just she’s a natural selector of movies, I have to really love something and it has to really fit my family schedule so I haven’t actually worked, I did Juno which was a couple of weeks on a movie that I just loved and had to do and The Kingdom and that was a year ago and I haven’t really worked since (talks) sort of ish but also the right thing has to fall in place at the right time for somebody so its all a miracle when anything falls in place yeah.
