Emilio is the best. He is a bright guy, he is a passionate guy. He understands his story very well and you just have to listen to what he wants and bring it back and it is easy. |

One of the things with this project that this movie proves is that who you know in counts in Hollywood. Because Emilio, this has been his passion project. He wrote it, he directed it. His brother helped him through some writer’s block issues and things like that and he called upon his friends to make it. He called upon Demi Moore, he called upon Anthony Hopkins and it was those names that helped bank-roll this movie. Because without those names, this movie would have not been made. |

One of the things film can do great sometimes is spark a debate over whether it is race issues such as crash or Bobby which can be politics and the issues of war and racism. Bobby talks a lot of things. It is an all encumber some movie with a lot of issues and hopefully something that will give actors to shine and show their chops. Now that is what sometimes these things are very appealing to actors because a small role sometimes lead to an Oscar nomination. |

There is always that hope. There is always that eternal hope that America will continue to reveal and yield and voices like Bobby Kennedy and Abe Lincoln and Franklin Delanor Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt, all the great people that shaped this country. There is always a hope. Those hopes aren’t always realized but we are always a country that is filled with hope and we will find another Bobby Kennedy. It might even be Barack Obama. |

I think they are trying to lift history and remove it from the context of what history has always been. Entertainment and movies…first let me separate that. Movies is nothing more than a technology and that technology is fed by art and is fed by writers and is fed by creative people and throughout history creative people have always talked about society and hope and aspirations. Shakespeare did it, Dotskovoski did it, Diego Rivera painted it, John Steinbeck wrote about it, so did Hemmingway. This whole idea that art should be mute and just entertain and have not political or social thought is a really very peculiar wasted moment in human evolution. |
