Search our complete archive holdings by ARTIST ONLY

• Using the alphabetized drop-down menu, select an artist's name.
• For accurate results, the Song Title field should remain at the default setting.
  (ie: no phrases or keywords).  If the song title field is not already set to the default setting, hit the 'CLEAR' button.
• Hit the 'SEARCH' button.
• Search results will show every performance by the selected artist, available in the Historic Films Archive.

Search our complete archive holdings by SONG TITLE ONLY:

• Using the alphabetized drop-down menu, select 'ALL ARTISTS' located at the top of the drop-down menu selections.
• Type in the exact phrase OR any known keyword for the song title you are searching for.
• Hit the 'SEARCH' button.
• Search results will represent every performance of all songs matching your exact phrase or keyword available in the Historic Films archive.

NOTE CONCERNING EXACT PHRASE AND KEYWORDS

• Submission of an exact phrase will show all listings that match your entry.  The program only recognizes exact word order and will not match alternate results if the string of words does not correspond with our database entries.

For Example :
A search of the title phrase “Be Good To Me” would render results for the following:

Petula Clark “Be Good To Me”
Charles Hodges “Baby, Please Be Good To Me”

• Submission of a known keyword will show all listings that utilize that keyword
  in its title.

For Example :
A search of the word 'Sun" would render results for the following:

The Kinks "Waterloo Sunset"
Richie Havens "Here Comes the Sun"
Small Faces "Lazy Sunday"

Search our complete library holdings for a SPECIFIC SONG performed by a SINGLE ARTIST:

• Using the alphabetized drop-down menu, select an artist's name.
• Type in the exact phrase OR any known keyword for the song title you are searching for.
• Hit the "SEARCH" button.
• Search results will represent every performance of the selected song by the selected artist.

NAVIGATING SEARCH RESULTS

• Click the 'Forward' Arrow to move to the next page in your search results. Click the 'Back' arrow to access the previous page.
• You can also use the 'Go To Page' drop down list. Select the page number from the list to quickly jump to that page in your search results.
• To view footage details click on the 'View Details' beneath the desired footage.
• To print footage details, click on 'Print' located at top of the selected footage Details window.
